Amanda is the owner and Director Principal of Thrive Workplace Consulting & Legal, and has experience in all areas of employment law. Amanda is a pragmatic and versatile employment lawyer, workplace investigator and consultant to the public and private sector. Predominately servicing employers and senior employees, Amanda has experience working with medium to large corporate, along with NSW, QLD and Federal Government clients. Amanda is a trusted advisor to senior executives, HR staff and direct supervisors regarding employee management, workplace legislation and the development of appropriate strategy and policy objectives.

Her advice work includes PR sensitive, strategic management of investigations, terminations and exit strategy, with an emphasis on providing commercial solutions and minimising employee distress, any damage to workplace culture and damage to reputation. Amanda also has experience working with executives and professional services staff on effective delegation, self auditing for work life balance and personal controls when operating in a global environment to minimise stress and time pressures.

Whilst operating a significant NSW practice, Amanda resides in the Gold Coast hinterland and is equally available to Queensland clients. Public Sector investigation work is available through Weir Consulting (National), an independent third party investigation, dispute resolution, culture investigation and restorative services business of which Amanda is also a Director and Principal Consultant.
