We would like to welcome Mr Tass Angelopoulos to Thrive Workplace Consulting and Legal as our Executive Counsel. Tass provides valuable assistance and incite at Thrive whilst also operating on other independent projects and practices.
Tass is an experienced, senior lawyer with over 30 years experience as a solicitor, barrister and an industrial relations manager. Tass is the go to person for:
- day to day employment matters including drafting and interpreting contracts of employment and contractor agreements, bonuses and other benefits, drafting, interpreting and training on workplace policies and dealing with employment grievances and complaints including investigations and report writing;
- employment aspects of business restructuring including redundancy, termination and sale and purchase of assets and shares as well as unlawful use of confidential information and post-employment restraints;
- workplace relations issues including matters arising under the range of industrial legislation that operate in Australia and extends to unfair dismissals, general protections, bullying, disputes, underpayments, award and agreement advice and disputes, enterprise bargaining, industrial action, minimum conditions of employment, right of entry and anti-discrimination laws; and
- advocacy in courts and tribunals including conciliations and arbitrations in the Fair Work Commission and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
